Up to now, many methods have been presented to treat cardiovascular diseases as the first cause of human death worldwide. In a recent study by Finish scientists, multifunctional patches presenting suitable biocompatibility, electrical conductivity, and mechanical strength have been 3D printed for long-term codelivery of drugs for therapies after myocardial infarction.
